Englewood Public Library announces their 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament on August 3 at Centennial Park. This family-friendly event will feature lawn games, food, and fun.

Denver Public Library invites older adults to Lawn Bowling at Washington Park on August 6 at 9:30 am. The Washington Park Lawn Bowling Club will provide instruction and a history of the green and the club.

Pine River Library’s Community Music Makers is a group of music lovers of all ability levels that meets the second Thursday of every month. Bring your instrument and a few copies of the song you want to share to their next meeting on August 8 at 3:00 pm.

Participate & Create

Experience the food, art, and culture of Italy in Virtual Reality. Ignacio Community Library invites you to experience the adventure using their Quest Pro headsets on August 15 at 4:00 pm.

Create something cool for school at Pueblo City-County Library District’s Tie Dye: Back to School Edition on August 7 at Greenhorn Valley. Most supplies will be provided; consider bringing your own shirt, socks, bags, etc. to dye.

Join Gunnison County Libraries for a Summer Songwriting Shindig with Lizzy Plotkin, August 3 at Crested Butte Library. Families will explore different instruments and contribute to an original composition.

Louisville Public Library invites you to a reception for Resilient Narratives, a multimedia exhibition by artists Grace Gee and Christian Ortiz that that celebrates the human spirit’s capacity to rise above challenges. Join them on August 8 at 5:30 pm.
