The Colorado State Library is partnering again with Beth Wahler to provide Effective “Debriefing” in the Workplace on Tuesday April 8, 2025 from 12 – 1 PM MT.
This 60-minute webinar, designed for library managers/supervisors, introduces strategies for facilitating non-clinical “debriefing” with staff who experience high-stress events at work. Participants will learn about the effects of high-stress incidents, indicators of staff trauma and burnout, and ways they can use their role to add support for staff well-being. Limits and potential dangers of nonclinical debriefing will also be discussed as well as signs or indicators that staff need professional support from a trained mental health professional.
Registration is required. To register, please email Christine Kreger directly at kreger_c@cde.state.co.us.
Due to anticipated demand, we are limiting registration to 5 staff from each library organization. We will also maintain a waitlist.
