Relax with Friends

Arapahoe Libraries welcomes the Daniel Bennett Group for Jazz in Garden, September 5 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Franciscan Event Center. Saxophonist Daniel Bennett will be joined by master percussionist Koko Bermejo and acclaimed bassist Kevin Hailey for an evening of modern jazz.

Garfield County Libraries invites Swifties to their Taylor Swift Party, August 24 at Parachute Branch Library. Tweens and teens will spend a fun afternoon with friends, games, activities, and trivia.

East Morgan County Library District invites you to enjoy a concert in the park with the Platte Valley Band. Bring a chair and enjoy music from this local concert band on August 27 at 6:00 pm.

Clearview Library District is hosting a Homeschool Social Hour, August 27 at Windsor Library. Meet other families and exchange ideas at this casual gathering

Aurora Public Library’s Salary Negotiations Workshop will help you increase your salary earnings when landing a new position, being promoted, or after a performance review. Register to attend on August 29, 12:00 pm, at Tallyn’s Reach Library.

Lone Cone Library presents Flyer Design for Beginners, August 28 at 5:30 pm. Participants will use Canva to learn the basics of designing captivating flyers.

Join Poudre Libraries and author Jonathon Stalls for WALK – Movement Experience & Book Reading on August 29, 5:00 pm, at Old Town Library. Start with an optional walk on the Poudre Trail, then return to the library to learn about Jonathon’s work on the Pedestrian Dignity project.

Bud Werner Memorial Library is the headquarters for the 2024 Yampa Valley Crane Festival. Celebrate these iconic birds with daily crane viewings, expert speakers, films, art exhibits, workshops, family activities and more.

Bemis Public Library welcomes local author Michael J. Henry for Mountain Biking the Colorado Trail, a presentation about his experience riding the Colorado Trail and the tips and tricks he picked up along the way. Learn about his journey on August 27 at 6:00 pm.

High Plains Library District invites you to learn about Colorado people and places at two upcoming history programs. On September 11 at 6:00 pm, Sharon Danhauer of the Loveland Historical Society will present Colorado’s Ignominious Days Under The Ku Klux Klan. Then on October 9 at 6:00 pm, explore Cache La Poudre: People, Gunpowder, The River with local historian Dave Lively. Both programs will be held at Carbon Valley Regional Library.
