Jefferson County Public Library is throwing a Mini Mardi Gras just for kids on February 28 at Standley Lake Library. Make a colorful mask and join the festive parade around the library.

Join Montrose Library District for Family Carnaval Day on February 22 at Montrose Library. You’ll learn about Latin American Carnaval, enjoy some authentic treats, and take part in a bilingual story time with a Brazilian mask-making craft.

Aurora Public Library welcomes Master Gardener Andrea Briney for an informative class about Backyard Composting on February 22 at Mission Viejo Library. You’ll learn how to start healthy compost and address common issues that arise.

Longmont Public Library’s 4th Annual Gardening Fair is February 23 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Connect with local organizations and businesses to learn more about gardening, ask questions, and start planning your gardening season. While you’re there, pick up some free seed packets.

Pueblo City-County Library District invites you to their All Pueblo Grows Seed Library on February 27 at the Rawlings Branch. Learn tips for planning your garden and creating a healthy compost pile.

Garfield County Libraries’ Pioneering for the Modern Day is a monthly class dedicated to helping you reclaim forgotten wisdom like gardening, food preparation, and survival skills. The next meeting is February 22 at the Silt Branch.

La Veta Public Library invites you to join historian David Steffan for Local History from a GeoSpatial Perspective on February 27 at 2:00 pm. His program will address how geographic features and related contexts greatly influence the ebb and flow of human experience and development over time.

At West Custer County Library’s Pet Photography class, you’ll learn tips for taking purr-fect photos of your furry friends. Sandra Dalton will lead this class on February 25 at 5:30 pm.
