INN-Reach Modernization Project – Sierra Web Access Testing

On November 11, 2024, SWIFT libraries that use the Millennium RSB client** will be required to transition to the Sierra Web interface to process Prospector materials.  In preparation for this transition, please complete the following steps to test Sierra Web access and network connectivity at your earliest convenience:

**If your library uses direct integration with Koha (AspenCat, DOC), Polaris, or Sierra (Marmot), you do NOT need to complete these steps.

  1. If your library uses a firewall, you will need to open port 63100 to allow traffic to and from the SWIFT server (IP: 130.253.239.25)
  1. Test the link: https://swift.coalliance.org/sierra/sierraweb
    • If port 63100 is open, you should see the “Welcome to Sierra Web” page shown below. Note: clicking “Connect to Sierra Service” will return an error message – that is expected.
Sierra Web Welcome Page

If you do not see the “Welcome to Sierra Web” page when you click the link, please reach out to us at swift-support@coloradovirtuallibrary.org so we can help you troubleshoot.  Sierra Web can be accessed via any web browser, but you do need to be on a computer that is coming from the IP address that we have registered for you. You can check your IP address by visiting https://www.whatismyip.com/ – be sure to include your IP address in your message in case we need to add or update your IP address information on our end.
