Three state health agencies have joined up to form the Colorado Cross-Agency Collaborative, which publishes statistical reports on Colorado health and human services. Their 2016 report Measuring Health in Adults 65 and Over was just named an Library Journal Notable Government Document for 2016. The report discusses older adult demographics, physical and behavioral health, social environments, and health and quality of life issues unique to this population.
Later in 2016 the Collaborative published a brief companion report on the health of adults younger than 65, Measuring Health in Adults Aged 18-64. Children’s health was examined in the Collaborative’s 2015 report, Measuring Child Health. The first report of the Collaborative, Measuring Behavioral Health, was issued in 2014. For more about the Collaborative see their website. For more resources on the health of Coloradans search our library’s online catalog.
