With COVID-19 numbers on the decline, many people — especially high school and collegiate athletes and their families — are wondering about the possibility of a return to organized sports this spring. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) has set up a new webpage with guidance on organized sports. The information on the page, which can be viewed in multiple languages, includes not only information on school sports but on other types of leagues and facilities as well.
The guidance presented in the website covers many of the questions you may have, including the use of face coverings, what to do if an athlete or coach is sick, how many spectators are allowed, how teams can travel safely and participate in tournaments, and much more.
