Fishing season in Colorado has arrived, and now, Colorado anglers have a new option for obtaining a fishing license – the myColorado digital app.
How does it work? Colorado Parks & Wildlife (CPW), the agency that issues fishing licenses, explains that Colorado resident anglers will still receive a printed card, but the new app can display the card on your phone – so you have one less thing to remember to pack!
To download the app, go to the myColorado page. The app is available for both Android and iPhone.
Fishing licenses can be purchased online from Colorado Parks and Wildlife. They’re also available to purchase at Colorado State Parks visitors centers across the state. See CPW’s new 2021 Colorado Fishing brochure & directory for important information, regulations, tips, and lots of ideas for places to go. The Colorado Fishing Atlas is another great place for ideas and tips.
