One of many journals in our collection is the UCD Historical Studies Journal, which features outstanding student writing from the University of Colorado at Denver’s history department. The articles are “peer-reviewed,” i.e., edited by other UCD history students. Generally, each issue will offer articles on various historical topics, including world history, U.S. history, state and local history, and public history. The journal not only makes an interesting read, but is also a great tool for incoming history students and those considering a history major to look at and “see how it’s done.” For more on the UCD History Department, including information on publishing in the journal (for students), visit their website.
